Oceans of Kansas Paleontology
Educational site that provides extensive information about the animals
that lived in and around the ancient ocean that
once covered Kansas and much of the Midwest United States and Canada.
Wichita Paleontological Society
Founded for the purpose of promoting interest and knowledge of the science
of paleontology. It is intended that the society be a network for the
exchange of information between professionals and serious amatuers in the field.
Activities include monthly meetings which include a presentation related to paleontology,
numerous field trips, workshops, and special programs.
